Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala was diagnosed with Stage IV ovarian cancer in 2012, which was a very scary and life-changing moment for her. Ovarian cancer is sometimes called a “silent killer” because its signs like stomach pain, feeling bloated, or needing to pee often can be easy to miss. Manisha went to the U.S. for strong treatment and has been cancer-free for over six years now. In her book Healed: How Cancer Gave Me a New Life, she talks about how fighting cancer helped her see life in a new way.
