Nancy Tyagi is a girl from a small village in India who became really famous because of her love for fashion. She didn’t come from a rich family or have a lot of help, but she always liked making clothes and dreamed of doing something big one day. At first, Nancy wanted to study for the UPSC exam to become a government officer, but things were hard at home. Her family didn’t have much money, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, so she couldn’t keep studying and had to find something else to do.
How did she make her way to the Cannes Film Festival ?
Nancy started making clothes by hand, using old fabrics and whatever she could find at home. She learned everything by herself by watching videos and practicing a lot. Her brother helped her record videos of the clothes she made and posted them on Instagram. At first, not many people noticed, and some even made fun of her. But Nancy didn’t stop. She kept making beautiful outfits and sharing them online.
One day, she recreated a red carpet look worn by a famous actress, and that video became super popular. So many people watched it and liked it! After that, more people started following her. She even worked with big companies and got paid for her creative designs. Her life started to change, and her fashion videos became more and more popular.
In 2024, Nancy Tyagi got invited to walk on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival in France. This is a really big event where celebrities from all over the world come to show their fashion. Nancy wore a big pink gown that she made all by herself. It was heavy and beautiful, and everyone loved it. People couldn’t believe someone from a small village could do something so amazing.
