The rapper HanuMankind’s real name is Sooraj Cherukat. There are many videos of his performance on the internet. He entertained the crowd with his high-energy performance at the ‘Modi & US’ event. The event was held in Long Island, New York, on Sunday. It was a part of the visit to the US for the strong ties between the two nations.
PM Modi greeted the Kerala-born rapper with a handshake and a hug and appreciated his performance at the event. The Prime Minister even chanted “Jai Hanuman” while greeting the artist. HanuMankind had gotten fame from his tracks like Big Dawgs, Rush Hour, Genghis, and Go To Sleep. He is truly emerging as a promising figure in mainstream hip-hop. The event also featured other Indian artists, such as singer Aditya Gadhvi and composer Devi Sri Prasad, to perform. Aditya is known for his hit Khalasi, while Devi Sri Prasad is famous for his work in blockbusters Pushpa. Both of them also had an opportunity to meet our PM Modi. Different art forms representing the culture and traditions of different parts of the country were on display, like a group performing Mallakhamb, an acrobatic art form from Maharashtra, outside Nassau Coliseum.
The Prime Minister on September 22 addressed tons of Indian-Americans at the ‘Modi and US’ event. During his speech, he mentioned India’s quick progress and also discussed various factors that are crucial to both India and the Indian expatriates.
