The 97th Oscars 2025 Award, the most prestigious award ceremony in the film world, took place on Monday at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, USA. This year’s ceremony was not only special to honour the best films and artists, but it also witnessed many new achievements and memorable moments. This time the Indian film ‘Anuja‘ got a chance to enter the Oscar race. The film was produced by Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Guneet Monga. However, the film failed to win the award and this award was won by I Am Not a Robot.
This year’s Oscars were special for a number of reasons. The first time comedian Conan O’Brien hosted this prestigious award show, it turned out to be thoroughly entertaining and memorable. This year saw the dominance of the film ‘Anora’, which won many big awards. At the same time, ‘Emilia Perez’ and ‘The Brutalist’ also managed to perform brilliantly.

The most talked about film this year was’ Anora’, which won five major awards including Best Film, Best Actress, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Film Editing.
‘The Brutalist ‘also won the Best Actor (Adrien Brody) and Best Cinematography awards. In addition, “Emilia Perez” also performed well, and Joey Saldana received the award for Best Supporting Actress.

Indian film ‘Anuja’ fails to win Oscar
“Anuja” was India’s entry to the Oscars and the audience had high expectations from it. But the film failed to win the award and ‘I Am Not A Robot’ took the award. However, it is a matter of pride for Indian cinema that our films are now joining the main race of the Oscars.
