Nampally court grants bail to actor Allu Arjun in Sandhya theatre case

Actor Allu Arjun has been arrested in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede case in Hyderabad. The Nampally court has granted him regular bail in the case. The court issued the order on Friday. Earlier, the police had arrested Allu Arjun in the case, but he was immediately granted interim bail. The actor was released on bail the next day. Now, after getting regular bail, this case has become somewhat of a relief for him.

Incident took place on December 4

The incident took place on the night of December 4 at Sandhya Theatre, Hyderabad, where the premiere of Allu Arjun’s film ‘Pushpa 2‘ was held. A large number of audience was present on the occasion. As soon as Allu Arjun reached the theatre, there was a stampede in the crowd.

Police started investigating the case and Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 after a complaint was filed. However, he was granted interim bail the same day and released the next day.

Order of regular bail

After the interim bail, the Nampally court has now granted him regular bail. Under this:

Allu Arjun will have to submit two security bonds of Rs 50,000 each.

The next hearing in the case will be on January 21, 2025.

The matter was raised in parliament.

The incident, which took place at Sandhya theatre, had created a furore not only among fans but also in the Telangana Assembly.

There are political debates on this.

Some people raised their voice in support of Allu Arjun, while some criticized him.

After this incident, some anti-social elements had also pelted stones at Allu Arjun’s house.

Though Allu Arjun has got relief after getting regular bail, this case is not yet completely over. All eyes will be on the hearing in the High Court on January 21. The incident has also highlighted the importance of safety at film premiere events, which is expected to take concrete steps towards averting such mishaps in the future.
