Bigg Boss is an Indian Hindi-language television reality show of the Bigg Boss franchise that is mostly telecasted on Colors TV in India. It follows the format of the Dutch reality game show Big Brother, which was first developed by Endemol in the Netherlands. It has been 18 years of 18 seasons of the show and 3 OTT seasons.
Bigg Boss now comes in 6 regional languages, and all of them are hits among the masses. With shows in Hindi, Telegu, Kannada, Tamil, Bengali, and Marathi, Bigg Boss show success mainly depends on the host, who is a pivotal factor in hiking the show’s TRP. The root of Indian Bigg Boss is Bigg Boss Hindi which has delivered 17 successful seasons so far, hosted by Arshad Warsi in the very first season and followed by Shilpa Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, and Sanjay Dutt, and then it is Salman Khan all the way, and even in the ongoing season number 18, we have our Most Handsome and Eligible Bachelor, Mr. Salman Khan. 5. Tajinder Singh Bagga
Controversial politician Bagga is also there as a contestant. He was a national secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. He also serves as in-charge of Uttarakhand’s BJP youth wing.

10. Rajat Dalal
Controversial weightlifter Rajal Dalal has joined the show. He talked about firing back at CarryMinati for his roast of him.
11. Muskan Bamne
Muskaan Bamne, who is best known for her role as Pakhi in the popular Star Plus show Anupamaa, is also a contestant in the season.
12. and 13. Arfeen Khan and Sara Arfeen Khan
Hrithik Roshan’s life coach, Arfeen Khan, and his wife, Sara, have both joined the show. His official website states, “For almost 25+ years, he has helped over 600,000 people in over 47 countries create personal and professional transformation.
14. Hema Sharma, aka Viral Bhabhi
Hema Sharma is a social activist and content creator but is majorly famous for her viral dance videos. She has appeared in films like Dabangg 3 and Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se.
15. Gunratan Sadavarte
Advocate Gunratan Sadvarte is one of the left-field choices of contestants this year. The lawyer came to national infamy in March 2023 after he was accused of inciting an attack on NCP leader Sharad Pawar.
16. Eisha Singh
A popular TV actress, Eisha Singh made her TV debut at the age of 17 with Ishq Ka Rang Safed. Her breakthrough came in 2016 with the hit show Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani.
17. Vivian DSena
The heartthrob of Indian television, Vivian DSena, has been a popular face on TV for over a decade. Known for playing brooding, angry heroes in shows like Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahani and Madhubala
18. Alice Kaushik
Pandya Store-fame actor has already been dubbed as the most adorable contestant of BB-18.
19. Gadhraj
The wildest of the wild cards, Gadhraj is an actual donkey who has gone inside the house along with the 18 human inmates. The contestants will have to look after his needs as well, and if Salman is to be believed, he has a shot at winning too.
Salman added a big twist in the final moments of the premiere episode when he confirmed Vivian Dsena and Alice Kaushik as Bigg Boss finalists. The theme of Bigg Boss 18 is ‘time ka taandav’. The show will deal with the concepts of past, present, and future. Bigg Boss 18 airs on Colors TV from Monday to Sunday, and the show will also be live-streamed on the Jio Cinema app.
