Malaika Enjoys Yoga Than Hitting Gym

50 years old Malaika Arora is still vibrant and boosting her energy. She has an amazing relationship with her body. She often posts her yoga practices on her social media content. Malaika Arora, a brilliant Bollywood actress and dancer, still looks the same as she looks in the “Chhaiya Chhaiya’ song. In her interview with Vogue India, she mentioned the way yoga has changed her life perception and a calmer person.

Malaika Arora born on 23 October 1973 is rejoicing in her life through her yoga practices so we shall take a look at her lifestyle and why she chose Yoga over hitting the gym.

Yoga Interesting and Weight Lifting

Malaika Arora busting the misconception of many that Yoga is not boring. She says Yoga is a form of meditation that calms your mind and makes your body more healthy and balanced. Although she doesn’t hate hitting the gym. She says in the interview with Midday India that lifting weights is a part and parcel of her training. Her body is trained to lift weights and maintain a body structure for her career in the entertainment industry. But Yoga is beyond losing weight or achieving a dream body. 

Malaika’s  favorite Yoga posture

Malaika Arora loves to post her yoga posture on her social media handle. She says she is still learning and there is a long way to go to become perfect, but yoga is the thing she enjoys the most. 

  1. Surya Namaskar

Malaika Arora starts her Yoga Practice with Surya Namaskar. Surya Namaskar consists of 12 steps. This whole-body yoga practice is an amazing warm-up for gym hitters and calms the body in the morning. The model Malaika Arora mentioned how this asana has boosted her arm strength which weight lifting didn’t do for her.

  1. Naukasana 

Malaika Arora loves to work at her core strength. She says core strength is the main strength one needs to work on. If the core is strong then one can do any task without any hassle. Naukasana can be challenging but doing so regularly can reduce cramps in women during their period week.

  1. Bidalasana 

Bidalasana is a core and spine awakening posture. It is generally performed in the warm-up section. Malaika loves to do this asana for it has benefitted her spinal strength and reduces any pain or discomfort in the back. She says the more we age the more we need to maintain our body. To live good we need to add good habits to her lifestyle.

Malaika Arora does not believe that diet or fasting can improve health. She believes one should eat whatever they want and make sure they take care of their mental and physical health by adding Yoga and cardiovascular exercise.
