Kota/Mumbai, October 19, 2026: Three suspects allegedly involved in the firing on Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai have been arrested at Kota railway station in Rajasthan while reportedly attempting to escape towards Nepal through Delhi.
The arrests came after police tracked the suspects’ movement following the shooting in Mumbai’s Juhu area. Tiger Shroff escaped the attack without gunshot injuries, while the case triggered a coordinated interstate search operation.
Three Suspects Arrested at Kota Railway Station
The accused were intercepted while travelling through Rajasthan after Mumbai Police shared intelligence about their movement with local authorities.
A joint operation involving Rajasthan Police and specialised teams was launched after investigators received information that the suspects were passing through Kota.
Police subsequently detained the three suspects at Kota railway station and began legal procedures for their transfer.
Suspects Allegedly Planned to Escape to Nepal
According to police, the suspects were allegedly planning to travel towards Delhi before eventually attempting to enter Nepal.
Investigators are examining whether the route had been planned in advance and whether anyone assisted the suspects during their escape after the firing.
The authorities are also reviewing travel records and digital communications linked to the accused.
Attack Took Place in Mumbai’s Juhu Area
The firing incident took place in Mumbai’s Juhu area when Tiger Shroff was travelling in his vehicle.
Reports said attackers opened fire at the car before fleeing the scene. The incident prompted an immediate police investigation and a search for the suspects.
Tiger Shroff remained safe, though the shooting raised concerns over the motive behind the attack and whether it was linked to organised crime.
Police Probe Possible Gang Links
Investigators are examining possible links between the suspects and organised criminal networks.
Reports have mentioned the possibility of connections with individuals associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi network, though authorities are still investigating the full chain of involvement.
Police are trying to determine whether the suspects acted independently or were allegedly instructed by someone else.
Escape Route Traced Across States
Police tracked the suspects’ movements after the shooting as they allegedly travelled out of Maharashtra.
Investigators followed intelligence inputs and travel information before locating them in Rajasthan.
The arrests in Kota are being treated as a major breakthrough in the case.
Mumbai Police Expected to Take Custody
Mumbai Police are expected to take custody of the suspects after completing the necessary legal formalities in Rajasthan.
Once transferred, the accused are likely to be questioned regarding the planning of the attack, their alleged escape route and the people who may have provided logistical or financial assistance.
Investigators are also expected to examine mobile phones and other digital evidence recovered during the probe.
Motive Behind Attack Still Under Investigation
Authorities have not yet announced a final conclusion regarding the motive behind the shooting.
The investigation is focusing on whether the attack was connected to extortion, organised crime or another dispute.
Police are also working to identify anyone who may have ordered, financed or facilitated the attack.
Investigation Continues
The arrest of the three suspects marks a significant development in the Tiger Shroff firing case.
Further questioning is expected to help investigators reconstruct the sequence of events leading up to the shooting and determine whether additional suspects were involved.
More arrests could follow depending on the evidence gathered during the investigation.
