Ajaz Khan Summoned Over ULLU Show Controversy

Ajaz Khan summoned by Mumbai Police leads to a controversy

Ajaz Khan has always been in the spotlight for controversy and now we see him again in the spotlight with another one. These cases have attracted wide media attention and raised questions about content regulation and ethical standards in digital entertainment.

In the first case, a woman has filed a complaint at Charkop Police Station accusing Ajaz Khan of raping her under the pretext of offering a role in an upcoming OTT project. According to her statement, Khan made false promises and then sexually assaulted her. The police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) and begun investigating the matter. The woman claims the incident took place some time ago but she came forward recently after learning about Khan’s growing influence in online platforms.

At the same time, Khan is under scrutiny for his participation in the Ullu app’s reality show. The show features Khan living with several women in a house and engaging in sexually suggestive games and behavior. The content of the show has caused outrage on social media, with many users calling it vulgar and degrading to women. People have raised concerns about how such content can influence young viewers and promote unhealthy, disrespectful attitudes towards women.

Chitra Wagh, head of the BJP Mahila Morcha in Maharashtra, demanded immediate action. She called it a shameful display and said it was an insult to Indian values. Her complaints led to political and legal pressure on the makers of the show, and the matter quickly caught the attention of the authorities.

They were asked to appear before the panel to explain the nature of the content and address the public concerns. The NCW said that such shows could have a negative psychological impact on viewers, especially young people, and promote the objectification of women.

The police also responded by sending official notices to Khan and Agarwal for questioning. They are currently investigating whether any laws were broken in the production or streaming of the show. Legal experts have pointed out that under Indian cyber and broadcasting regulations, sexually explicit content that is easily accessible to minors could be punishable.

Ajaz Khan has had a controversial past. He was previously arrested in connection with a drug-related case and has often made headlines for his aggressive behavior and political statements. His involvement in this latest scandal has once again placed him in the center of a major controversy.

The producers of the Ullu app have not made a formal statement yet, but sources suggest that the platform may be considering taking down the show to avoid further legal complications. Meanwhile, activists and social workers are urging the government to implement stricter controls on OTT platforms, which have grown rapidly in India but still operate in a loosely regulated environment.

As of now, the investigations in both cases—the rape allegation and the ‘House Arrest’ controversy—are ongoing. If found guilty, Khan could face serious legal consequences. These incidents also highlight the urgent need for accountability in both individual behavior and digital content production, especially when public trust and cultural values are at stake.
