The Devara movie featuring Jr. NTR, Jhanvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan is released today on September 27. The film is getting huge buzz for the brilliant performances to expect. It is set for a bumper opening worldwide with an anticipated collection of around Rs 120-125 crore gross. For Jr. NTR, it could be his second biggest opener after RRR.
The solo theatrical release of Devara, part 1 of the story featuring Jr. NTR in dual roles for different timelines, as it’s a saga of action and anger. This strong plot has been nicely depicted in the film, and surely the fans are going crazy after watching the movie. Till now, around 15.27 lakh tickets are already sold in India to earn a gross of Rs 38.84 crore gross by the end of its pre-sales business for the first day. As per the trade website Sacnilk reports, it collected Rs 54.27 crore gross, including block seats in India. Worldwide, the film has recorded over Rs 85 crore gross in the final booking for the opening day, and around Rs 30 crore gross came from just the overseas market.
The trade website also disclosed that Devara has already collected over Rs 90 crore gross in its advance sales for the opening weekend. The action drama movie is expected to have huge opening day figures today, enough to record the second-biggest opening for an Indian film in 2024 after Kalki 2898 AD. The Prabhas-starrer opened over Rs 175 crore gross on its first day at the worldwide box office collection, and Devara: Part One will be right behind it.
Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, the film is largely receiving positive reviews from the masses. It looks like it will sustain its magic after the first weekend is over. It has seen a wide release in the Hindi market as well, with the fusion of actors from Bollywood like Jhanvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, and a few others.
