Netflix India revealed the premiere date of its much-awaited docu-series The Roshans. The show is based on the legacy of Hrithik Roshan and his family in the Indian film industry. The series was announced a few weeks ago, and now the streaming platform has finally shared its release date and new poster.
Sharing the poster, Netflix wrote, “Lights, camera, family! Journey into the world of The Roshans with music, movies and a bond that defines heritage. Watch ‘The Roshans’ on January 17, only on Netflix.”
The main focus of the docu-series will be on the late Roshan Lal Nagrath, who was a famous music director, his son Rajesh Roshan (famous composer), filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, and actor Hrithik Roshan. It will give an in-depth account of the film and personal lives of three generations of the Roshan family.

The docu-series is directed and co-produced by film industry veterans Shashi Ranjan and Rakesh Roshan. It also includes interviews with industry peers, friends, and colleagues who will share their views on the legacy of the Roshan family. “We are extremely excited to partner with Netflix and share the untold stories that shaped our lives.”
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is currently working with Jr NTR in War 2. Apart from this, he will also be seen in Krrish 4, which will be directed by Karan Malhotra. The film also stars Preity Zinta and Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles.
