Celebrated for his performance in “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,” Gurucharan Singh has returned to Mumbai for the first time since he vanished earlier this year. The actor is seen in a floral shirt with his pet and at Mumbai airport on a video that is doing the rounds on Facebook. “Yes, they have cleared almost everyone’s payment,” Gurucharan says in the video answering inquiries on his show’s payment obligations. I will have to ask; I’m not sure about some.
Gurucharan’s father reported missing persons to the Delhi Police earlier in April when his son did not return to Mumbai following a visit to Delhi. Though not in a good financial situation, Gurucharan was using credit cards and had several bank accounts, according initial investigations. Friends and relatives conjectured he might have started a spiritual path, investigating his side and thinking about mountain travel.
When the actor returned, he verified these concerns by informing the police he had went for a religious trip and visited several gurdwaras in towns including Amritsar and Ludhiana. Following a meditation-practicing cult, Gurucharan said he wanted to meditate in the Himalayas. He finally chose, though, to go back home.
The Delhi Police asked Gurucharan back-off, and his statement was noted. He said he turned to a spiritual trip for comfort from both personal and professional problems. Originally investigating his disappearance, the police had first registered an abduction complaint.
When asked in the video about the likelihood of going back to “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,” Gurucharan answered, “God knows. I am ignorant. I will tell you guys as soon as I get to know. He also said he will let someone know once his phone is turned on since it is now off.
Given Gurucharan’s major part in one of India’s most beloved television shows, people have been particularly interested in his disappearance and later comeback. His disclosure of the production crew settling most of his debts will probably provide some respite to his colleagues and supporters.
Gurucharan’s life in Mumbai is settling back, and the emphasis now moves to whether he would go back to the program that established him as household name. Fans and well-wishers are currently content to see him safe and back home.
