Celebrity and controversy go hand in hand and the recent actor to land herself is Tripti Dimri who hogged the limelight with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial Animal. It is said that the actress is supposed to grace an event with her presence on Nari Shakti (Women Empowerment) which was organised by the Women Entrepreneurs of FICCI FLO in Jaipur on Monday evening.
The actress was unable to attend the event which led to the outburst and boycott of both her and her upcoming film, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.
One of the female entrepreneurs informed that the actress was given her confirmation over call for her presence in the event for which she charged Rs 5.5 lakh as per media reports. The organizer expressed their displeasure and informed that they will take a legal action would be taken against the actor for her unprofessional behaviour.
A video from the event is going viral where a woman is expressing her anger by blackening a poster of Triptii Dimri while other women are shouting ‘Mooh Kalla Karo Iska’. In another video a woman is questioning the authenticity of the commitment by the celebrities and how they are failed to fulfil their work commitments. She further adds that Jaipur will boycott her and her upcoming movies.

Tripti Dimri’s spokesperson gave clarification on this issue to the media stating, “Tripti is very professional and live up to her commitments. During her Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala promotion, she fulfils her professional obligations, marks her presence in possible events. And as far as payment is concerned no additional fees or payments were accepted for her involvement in these activities.”
On the work front, Triptii Dimri’s next film, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, co-starring Rajkummar Rao, is slated for release on October 11, 2024. She will also be sharing screen space with Kartik Aaryan in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’
